ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN FOR BETTER CARE
In today’s complex health care environment, health care must be coordinated, use strategies based on solid scientific evidence, and always put patients and their families first.
To further this goal, the Health Access Coalition has joined the national Campaign for Better Care and is working to develop a strong consumer voice for improving the quality of care for the most vulnerable North Carolinians.
Along with our partners, we bring together disparate voices in health care – patients, providers, policymakers, and administrators – to push for improvements in the coordination and quality of care, especially care delivered to older adults and people with disabilities.
Host a Campaign for Better Care event! We are available to help organize community conversations on health care. Attendees will get to share their experiences, tell us what they think needs to be changed in our health system, and take advantage of the expertise offered by the Health Access Coalition and our partners.
To host an event or get more information about the NC Campaign for Better Care, contact Nicole Dozier, Health Access Coalition Assistant Project Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 919-856-2146.
