Paralegal, Workers Rights Project
Ronald Garcia-Fogarty joined the Justice Center in August 2011 as a paralegal with the Workers Rights Project. Ron’s commitment to working for social justice developed from his formative experiences in Nicaragua, his studies at Vassar College and American University, and his work with immigrant rights organizations and international justice networks.
Ron was born in Guatemala, and also has Nicaraguan and US heritage from his parents. Before arriving in North Carolina in 2008, Ron lived in Nicaragua, New York State, and Washington, DC. He is married and father of a young child, and is a board member of Student Action with Farmworkers (SAF).
