We are excited to invite you to our annual Defenders of Justice Awards!
When: Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 6 to 7 PM
with a pre-event cocktail reception from 5 to 6 PM
Where: The Washington Duke Inn

Program | Ballroom
Due to the delta variant, all guests will be required to show proof of vaccination.
Masks will be mandatory in the ballroom and we highly encourage social distancing. The Washington Duke Inn includes an air filtration system that is certified for COVID-19. Every night the hotel is gone through with an electrostatic system, and any touchable surface is cleaned after every event.
Every year we come together to celebrate the inspirational work of outstanding leaders in our community who are leading the fight for justice. These few exemplify our mission—they are working to eliminate poverty in North Carolina to ensure the creation of an economy that works for everyone. They are at the frontlines of advancing progressive and inclusive policies that advance equity and opportunity in our state. Please join us in celebrating their numerous achievements!
