Jason joined the North Carolina Justice Center as a Staff Attorney in 2014, focusing on consumer rights and housing issues. Prior to joining the Justice Center, Jason obtained extensive complex litigation experience at private law firms in San Francisco, which included representing plaintiffs in consumer class actions. While in San Francisco, Jason also volunteered at the Housing Negotiation Project, representing low-income individuals at mandatory settlement conferences to help them avoid eviction.

Jason received his BA from Haverford College, an MA in English literature from the University of Virginia, and his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law.
