Share Your Story – End Debt-Based Driver’s License Suspensions in NC!

We are launching an advocacy campaign in North Carolina focused on ending debt-based driver’s license suspensions. We believe sharing your story could have a real impact. If you are someone from North Carolina who has:

• Had their license suspended because of unpaid traffic debt or because they couldn’t make it to court.
• Lost housing, a job, medical access, childcare, or food access because they couldn’t legally drive
• Struggled with public transportation or lived in an area with no transit options
• Benefitted from government programs in Orange County or Buncombe County (court text reminders, mobility services, court debt relief, etc.)
