Jonathan Patton joined the NC Justice Center as the Leslie J. Winner Public Interest and Civil Rights Fellow in September 2019. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2019. During law school, he served as Associate Chief Justice of the Moot Court Board, Secretary of the Black Law Students Association, and a member of the Wake Forest Student Trial Bar. He completed summer internships at the Southern Coalition for Social Justice in Durham, NC and the Union County District Attorney’s Office in Monroe, NC.

Prior to attending law school, Jonathan received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University. At the Justice Center, he will be working with the litigation team on issues affecting the rights of workers, consumers, immigrants, and families with low incomes.
