Get the facts on the debate over reform at TarHeelWorkers.org

RALEIGH (Jan. 30, 2013) – As plans to alter North Carolina’s unemployment insurance system move forward, a nonprofit group has gathered comprehensive information about the issue in one place online.

As part of the Tar Heel Workers campaign, the NC Justice Center has produced background material on the origin of problems with the system; the catastrophic consequences of the current “reform” proposal; state-by-state comparisons of unemployment insurance policies; and an approach to fix the system without harming jobless workers.

The fact sheets, backgrounders and information graphics can be accessed at: http://tarheelworkers.org/get-the-facts/fact-sheets-infographics/
