Kelan Lyons

Kelan Lyons is an Investigative Reporter for NC Policy Watch. Kelan has been writing about the criminal legal system since he started his career in journalism covering Brazos County, Texas courts in 2017. He has worked for daily, alt weekly, and statewide newsrooms in Texas, Utah, and Connecticut. Most recently, he wrote about criminal justice politics and policy for the CT Mirror, a nonprofit newsroom based in Hartford, Connecticut. He is from Philadelphia.
