Timothy Young

Timothy is new to the Raleigh area, originally hailing from Frederick, Maryland. Tim got his BA in Journalism and MA in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University. His education and university experiences kickstarted his career in journalism with a special interest in tackling social justice issues. As a TV journalist covering the Washington DC area, Tim covered various topics including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020, and the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol. Now, Tim is excited to be with the NC Justice Center, advocating for a fair and equitable criminal justice system. Tim plays guitar in his free time and never misses a chance to tell you a good story.
