(Raleigh, NC – October 26, 2025) Our Project and Engagement teams continue to deepen their connection to the communities they serve and expand their network of allies across North Carolina. Staff from our Workers’ Rights, Health Advocacy, and Immigrant and Refugee Rights Projects joined together to welcome visitors to the NC Justice Center table at Clayton’s 6th Annual Latin American Festival on Sunday, October 26, during the town’s weekend-long Harvest Festival.

The festival was a vibrant celebration of Latin culture, featuring live performances, food trucks, and a variety of vendors. Team members distributed resources from all six of the North Carolina Justice Center’s project teams, answered questions, and listened to community members’ stories.

During these conversations, the team helped raise awareness about workers’ rights, health care programs, and where they can find support. One attendee was excited to win the raffle, while many signed up to stay connected.

The NC Justice Center Engagement team remains committed to building a state where everyone can thrive. These events are a chance to build stronger, more informed, and more engaged communities. Engagement team talking with festival attendees
