Melissa joined the NC Justice Center in October of 2011. Prior to working at the Justice Center, she studied Political Science at the University of Massachusetts and spent four years working as a litigation paralegal in Boston. While interning at a Boston-based non-profit Melissa received a Master’s degree in Ethics and Public Policy at Suffolk University. The focus of both her work and her studies was the definition, importance, and improvement of well-being.
