Emily joined the North Carolina Justice Center in 2016 as the Leslie J. Winner Public Interest & Civil Rights Fellow and became a Staff Attorney in Fall 2018. Prior to joining the Justice Center, she clerked for the Hon. Sri Srinivasan on the D.C. Circuit.

In 2015, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where she was a Toll Public Interest Scholar. During law school, she served as a senior editor on the University of Pennsylvania Law Review and as a board member of the Civil Rights Law Project.

Emily received her undergraduate degree from Bryn Mawr College. She is a member of the bars of North Carolina and the D.C. Circuit.
