Policy Analyst, Budget & Tax Center
Brenna Burch joined the NC Budget and Tax Center in January 2010 as a Public Policy Analyst. Brenna’s abiding interest in public finance was sparked while working for a community-based health care advocacy nonprofit in central Illinois. She subsequently worked a legislative budget analyst for the Illinois House of Representatives and, more recently, as a legislative fiscal analyst with the North Carolina General Assembly’s Fiscal Research Division where she held an active role in the preparation and negotiation of the finance portion of the North Carolina state budget. Brenna holds a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois.
